Ergonomic office furniture such as ergonomic chairs is one of the most important elements for modern office environment. The wide use of ergonomic furniture in modern workplace has much to do with various health issues that occurred especially after the use of computers in the office. Ergonomic chairs have improved health problems such as pain to the back, shoulder or neck after prolonged sitting. Though now standard practice for modern office, ergonomic chair is not perfect and still a lot of issues remain.

Among all the different ergonomic products for modern office, ergonomic office chairs are one of the widely used furniture. Compared to the traditional office chairs, ergonomic office chairs are flexible in that they can be adjusted to fit different users, offer lumbar support and reduce stress caused by prolonged fixed sitting posture.

People have different body figure and we need chairs that offer us different needs. For example, for those overweight people, a large chair that can support heavy weight is needed. Ergonomic furniture actually still affects our posture. For example, there are some ergonomic desk, or exactly a bench which we still lean forward. The spine or back problem is just waiting to happen.

Anyway, when we upgrade our furniture to ergonomic one, we shall never depend on the ergonomic furniture for avoiding the possible health issues.
